Springfield Clean Green Initiative

The Clean Green Springfield community cleanup initiative is back and celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2025 with new opportunities and fresh challenges. Join the City of Springfield and partners in our challenge to make Springfield a more beautiful, clean and connected community.

Registration for a new series of city-wide volunteer opportunities and activities is planned in April - June.

Individuals, families, businesses, neighborhoods and service organizations are invited to roll up their sleeves and participate in one or more opportunities including: roadside trash pickups, stream cleanups, neighborhood cleanup dropoff events and more. The City will provide trash bags, supplies and giveaways and will pick up full trash bags when activities are complete. 

This year Clean Green is piloting GivePulse for our Kansas Expressway Point of Pride Cleanup event on April 12.
